Demonstration by Dottie Eagley-How to Create Magnificent Miniature Flowers

Local miniature artist, Dottie Eagley will be at The Mini-Time Machine demonstrating how to create miniature daffodils, geraniums and other flowers. Included with museum admission. Free for members.

Artist Bio

Dottie Eagley has been an avid miniaturist since the mid-80s.  After retiring from elementary school teaching (27 years in Arizona), she opened Old Pueblo Miniatures and ran that store for almost fourteen years.  During that time, she taught many classes and also brought in some of the industry’s finest instructors (including Williamson/Walton-Marble and Peter Westcott, who had repaired and presented the Thorne rooms now on display at the Phoenix Museum of Art).  She also traveled to take classes from such fine artisans as Brooke Tucker, Era Pearce, Sue Ann Thwaite and Whitledge and Burgess among others.
