The Uptown Movie Theater in ¼” scale is a composite of movie palaces from large cities to small towns in everywhere USA. The structure is pre-built & primed painted and many of the small parts are pre-painted. Learn to stucco; apply aging glazes, proper painting techniques, metal foil application and gluing with attention to different varieties of adhesives. The neon (pre-assembled el-wire) will be demonstrated with the proper soldering techniques for any who would like to use this material on other projects. You have a choice of two neon colors (one for the sign edge and one for the marquee) - dark blue, light blue, lime green, or magenta. Note: The Theatre is supplied with lighting (Novelty LEDS) but a transformer is not supplied. Instructors suggest a Cir-Kit 5 watt transformer.

Basket Of Apples: Fresh fruit creates an inviting display when presented in a miniature dollhouse. In this class you will use polymer clay to create a variety of miniatures apples from red delicious to granny smith. Then you will construct a bushel basket and fill it with your apples.
