Guided Tours on the Fly
Guided Tours on the Fly
Time:
11:30 am
You don’t need to be a fly on the wall to catch the stories going on in our miniatures rooms. Take a guided tour on the fly and get the inside scoop. Tours start in the lobby at 11:30am the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The tour is a highlights tour and lasts about one hour.

Begin your summer with enchantment by visiting the miniature abodes of wizards, fairies, dragons and other enchanted creatures in the museum’s Enchanted Realm. Crafts include creating wizards, fairies, dragons and their magical instruments using art materials such as clay, paint and collage materials. Meet an author of fairy tales then write your own fairy tales and poems. Throughout the week you will create and furnish your own miniature castle.

Susan Lowell

Local award winning author, Susan Lowell, will be at The Mini-Time Machine. She is the author of several picture books for children, including The Three Little Javelinas. On Saturday, Ms. Lowell will be reading one of her southwestern fairytales. She will also give a presentation on what it’s like to be a children’s book author and will be available to sign books.
