The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures' How To's are a series of instructions that will have you creating your own miniatures in no time! Created with the beginning miniature maker in mind, each project can be easily completed in less than an hour and often with materials readily on-hand.
A hands-on experience makes learning about miniatures super fun. We provide these easy to make How To's, developed by TMTM's Associate Director and Director of Education, Lisa Hastreiter-Lamb, free of charge so that everyone can experience miniatures first-hand. Please tell your friends about our site.

In this month’s how to project, you will create a matchbox retablo. Created from a matchbox, dresden trim and other simple supplies, the detail of these little beauties belies their simplicity. This project is designed for the beginning miniature maker and can be completed in about an hour. With Day of the Dead just around the corner, this is a great way to honor loved ones who have passed. These would also make lovely ornaments by simply affixing an ornament hook through the top.

How To Make a Miniature School Pennant and Pompoms
In this month’s How To, you will create a miniature school pennant and pompoms using basic craft supplies such as felt, foam letters, tissue paper, toothpicks and glue. This project is designed for the beginner miniature maker 14 years of age and up and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Make a set in your school colors and show your team spirit.
